Ben Roethlisberger

Ben Roethlisberger was born in 1982 in Ohio and was always surrounded by Family. Ben was very active in sports at a very young age. Ben’s two best sports were basketball and football. Backyard football was one thing he enjoyed at a young age. He always played the game with a lot of heart. Ben hates losing at anything, especially football.

Ben Roethlisberger played wide receiver in High School. He was so good at basketball that he averaged over 20 points a game. Baseball was another sport he was good at and Ben Roethlisberger was named All-District. In baseball, he averaged over .300, which is a really good average.

He was invited to summer camp before his Senior Year. Unfortunately, he left summer camp with no scholarship offer. In Ben’s first game, he threw six touchdowns and Ben thought that’s good enough for me. Ben set state High School records for football, which is so impressive. In 2000, Ben was a redshirt freshman, but he started in 2001. His first home game was impressive, even though he struggled with away games. Ben had a fantastic year and followed this up in 2002. People were really happy with the offensive system in Miami and the way things were progressing.

Ben Roethlisberger was the main attraction on a pro day for the NFL. He is considered fast for a quarterback, especially with the cone drills. Ben stepped into a starting role for Pittsburgh Steelers, after an injury to the starting quarterback. He was the best rookie quarterback to play football.

The 15-1 record by the Steelers was so impressive. Ben set many rookie passing records, which is impressive. The best passer rating was one record that he set.
