Chuck Bell, founder and president, launched AIS Healthcare in 2008. Bell brings over 20 years of pharmacy experience to the table. Bell began his journey in the home fusion industry in 1992. He is the owner of several pharmacies and healthcare businesses.
AIS Healthcare recently celebrated its 15 birthday. Today, they lead the targeted drug delivery and infusion care within the medical community. Throughout the last 15 years, they have expanded into six states. Recently, AIS has announced the expansion of its in-home fusion care to Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. They now have 180 nurse specialists in 40 states.
AIS provides two primary services. First, they are a targeted drug delivery service. AIS works with medical providers and state-of-the-art pharmacies to provide patients with the best medications. The certified nurses can travel to patients who cannot get to the doctor’s office or do not have the time to go to a clinic or make an office visit. The nurses are not only qualified to administer pump refills, but they also can provide pump maintenance and other services. AIS advocates for its patients and will handle payment and insurance payments.
Advanced Infusion Care is the other primary service offered by AIS. AIS has a home infusion team that collaborates with the patient’s infusion to guarantee the patient is receiving the best possible care. Advanced Infusion Care patients can access 24-hour specialty nurses, clinical pharmacists, and intake managers. The entire team works together to provide a better life for the patient. The nurses are accredited and go beyond expectations when caring for their patients. The nurses will communicate with a patient’s physician to confirm that all orders are followed. Each nurse is dedicated to providing their patients with a better quality of life.
