John has spent over 30 years in different industries from New York City to Dubai, and he has been successful in every endeavor with more than 25 years of experience as a marketing executive at P&G. He is also a seasoned board director with a diverse wealth of knowledge that spans across many industries such as film, digital media, retail, manufacturing and publishing.
His career began as an Associate Director of Media at P&G, where he worked with all brands worldwide on use of media and advertising, while increasing sales. Working in the entertainment business in New York, he had overseen the production of over 200 commercials for some of today’s top brands. In the mid-1990s John moved to Dubai where he was one of the founders and a board member of Dubai DTC one of the first companies that produced commercials for their clients in the U.S., Europe and Middle East. He also founded and served as CEO of Dubai DTC’s U.S. media subsidiary, Media Access Group (MAG) a multi-platform production company with offices in New York City, Dubai and Los Angeles.
His career has also included working for large retail firms such as Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Sears and Mervyns in the U.S., while driving growth through innovative ideas and campaigns. His company, Media Access Group, was awarded the number 1 television production company in Dubai. He also has been successful in developing new product lines and initiatives for P&G which led him to be elected President of the Middle East CSR Council by P&G as well as Board Member of The Mideast CSR Council.
Savignano was also on the Board of Directors of Omnicom Media Group and Young & Rubicam where he developed strategic plans for all worldwide agencies that promoted growth and efficiency in client acquisition.
